Minor errors in website product information happen all the time, but the build-up can't be ignored.

Retailers strive to give customers accurate details to support their decisions. A recent study in the International Journal of Retail and Distribution Management looked at mobile product information issues and their impact on purchase intention, trust, loyalty, and risk of abandonment.

The results showed significant drops in these areas. Even when customers made a purchase despite the errors, their satisfaction and long-term loyalty significantly decreased.
